Twuuuue Wuv...

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these two patterns I just picked up from Kallie Designs on Etsy!  Too cute!  They're about a size 1 - 2!  Can't wait...seriously!

Life would be a dream...

I just ordered some new vintage patterns!  Well, I guess they're not new...but new to me so that counts right???  I love finding original patters from the 20's through the 50's and 60's! There is just something almost magical about it!  It's fascinating to see how styles and everything have progressed.  I love the children's patterns and the women's dresses are so yummy, I just can barely stand it!  I just wish there were more to be had but I suppose that might take away from they're beauty just a little bit.

I love this one and can't wait for it to find it's way to my mailbox!

There is just such a classiness to it!  Such a treasure!  However, there is one I simply would just die if I got ahold of it...

I guess the next option is to make my own pattern! I am totally in love with this playsuit!  But really...$.35 for a pattern, wouldn't that be lovely?

A girl can dream...

Surf's up!!!

Now, if only I could figure out how to surf in the mountains! I am always looking for things that remind me of warm weather, sunny beaches and the always much appreciated relaxation! Needless to say I was totally ecstatic when I found this fabulous Michael Miller fabric! I absolutely love the Raspberry color but am anxious to make something with the bright and cheery blue "lagoon" as well! Will be posting once I have a finished product!  It's so fun and whimsical...I think I might need to get more!  I am currently making one in a size 5 for our little model Zoey who is modeling below!  The dress pictured is a 2T.

Sew excited...

I was so excited to see pictures of little Zoey today.  It totally made my day seeing the dress I mad her put into action.  It is such a great feeling!

I have been working on some new things and am having such a hard time I must say narrowing down as I have way too many ideas and things going around and simply just not enough time.  Also, I went to a local quilt shop and got some fabulous new fabrics and talked with the owner for awhile.  She is fabulous!  If you are in Salt Lake you should check out Piper's Quilts and Comforts!  They're fabulous!

Anyhoo...here is Zoey in her new Cherry dress!!!

Love it!  Now only if it would really warm up, I am so ready for warm weather...and some ice cream!

Sew ready for summer...

I got excited when I started making these little dresses.  They are so fun and colorful, it makes me wish for water and warm weather even more (if that is at all possible).  Of course our recent snow storm and tornado winds did not help and of course the 4 ft. snowdrift right out my front door (although humorous) made me pray for at least a sliver of sunshine.  So...in the meantime I worked on my little bit of aloha and daydreamed of warmer weather and warm sandy beaches.  I can't wait to get the other dresses finished...but for now, the sunshine is calling my name!
